Campus Fire Safety
129 campus-related fire fatalities have occurred in the United States since 2000. 84% of these fatalities were in off-campus housing.
Each year college students experience hundreds of fire-related emergencies nationwide. Many campus-related fires result from a lack of knowledge about fire safety and prevention. For most students, the last fire safety training they received was in grade school. It is important that both off-campus and on-campus students understand fire risks and know the preventative measures that could save their lives. More »
